1. Your files and input data
Every ThisIsMyPDF tool (PDF, image and calculator) runs entirely inside your browser. Files you select and values you enter are never transmitted to or stored on a server, and the operator has no way to access them. When you close the tab, any data being processed is gone.
2. Information we collect
No account is required to use the tools. If you choose to sign up or log in, we collect and use the following:
- Data collected — your email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash; the operator cannot read your original password), and plan status. If you sign up with Google, the email address and basic account identifier Google provides (we do not store your name or profile photo).
- Purpose — to identify your account, keep you logged in, offer and apply the Premium plan, and send service-related notices.
- Retention — deleted without undue delay when you close your account, except where a law requires longer retention, in which case the data is stored separately for that period and then destroyed.
- Your choice — you may decline to provide this information; only account features are then unavailable, and every tool remains fully free to use.
Separately, we may collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the service: page views, browser type, referral source, and anonymous tool-outcome events — which tool was used, whether it succeeded or could not produce a result, a short reason code, and non-identifying details such as page count, an image's dimensions, or a coarse file-size range (for example "5-10 MB"). These events never include your file, its name, its contents, or anything you typed — only the aggregate metadata needed to find and fix cases where a tool did not give you the result you wanted.
2-1. Processors and international transfer
Authentication and data storage are handled by Convex, Inc., with data stored on cloud infrastructure in the United States. If you use Google sign-in, information is processed by Google LLC during authentication. Each provider protects your data under its own privacy policy.
2-2. Your rights and security
You may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of your data at any time. You can log out and delete your account from the account page; other requests can be sent to the contact on our About page. Passwords are stored as a one-way hash using a strong standard algorithm, all traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, and login sessions expire, auto-refresh, and are invalidated on logout.
3. Advertising and cookies
To keep the service free, this site may display third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense or Kakao AdFit). Advertising partners may use cookies to serve interest-based ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of some third-party cookies at aboutads.info.
- You can also block cookies in your browser settings (the site will keep working normally).
4. Theme preference
Your dark-mode choice is stored only in your browser (localStorage). It is never sent to a server.
5. Contact
For privacy-related questions, use the contact details on the About page.
6. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page along with its effective date.
- 2026-08-21 — Corrected the storage processor to Convex, Inc. (previously stated as Supabase Inc.), and put the promised deletion of contact messages under an automated daily cleanup job.
Contact form
If you send us a message through the contact page, we store the subject and message so we can read and act on it. An email address is optional — we only ask for one so we can reply, and if you leave it blank we simply cannot write back. Contact messages are not used for advertising, are not shared with third parties, and are deleted once the matter is resolved (at the latest, one year after we receive them). To have a message deleted sooner, send another message referring to it.
